Chili Week 1: A Bit of Chorizo

Jonathan's Week 1 Chili Narrative

For my first chili of the season, I basically planned my standard
chili recipe but with the addition of 1 and 1/2 chorizo sausages. My
standard chili recipe, by the way includes bacon–not a ton of bacon,
but bacon. But because I enjoy making do with whatever's in the house,
especially rather than making multiple trips to the grocery store,
there were these wrinkles:

--Red onion instead of yellow or white
--No celery
--No garlic (though I used garlic powder, adobo seasoning, and a dash
of Tony Cachere's)
--garnishes: shredded radish and scallion
